Evelyn Blas

Evelyn is a Pre-Award Grants Manager in the Office of Research. She is a U.S. Navy veteran and has worked in healthcare for over 20 years. She has been part of Rutgers since 2013, five years at CINJ focusing on Clinical management and Research administration and another five at RWJMS as a Program Manager for the Office of Research. With a background in pre- and post-award functions, reviewing proposals, and managing medical student research programs, she is well-versed in research administration. Holding a BS in Business Management, Evelyn currently pursues an MS in Healthcare Data Analytics. Committed to enhancing access to quality healthcare, she volunteers as a bilingual outreach representative and advocate for several non-profit organizations in New Jersey.
