Biography

Mary Hrywna, Ph.D., M.P.H., is an associate professor in the Department of Health Behavior, Society, and Policy at the Rutgers School of Public Health. Dr. Hrywna earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communication from Douglass College at Rutgers University, her Master of Public Health in health behavior from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Public Health, and her doctoral degree from the Rutgers School of Public Health.

Research Interests

Dr. Hrywna’s research areas and interests include tobacco regulatory science and tobacco control policy, particularly policies that may prevent or reduce tobacco use among young people and other special populations.
