Biography

Michelle Kennedy, Program Coordinator, is the research administrator for “Mindfulness-based Ecological Momentary Intervention for Smoking Cessation among Cancer Survivors” (PI:Yang) which is funded by NIH/NCI; Evaluating Cigarette Relighting Behavior: Prevalence, Correlates, Toxicant Exposure, and Implications for Cessation (PIs: Steinberg/Heckman/Stepanov) which is funded by NCI; and is part of the Technical Assistance team for the NJ Quit Centers. Currently, she is a DrPH candidate in Leadership, Practice, and Research at the Rutgers School of Public Health with research interests in tobacco cessation among people with depression and anxiety. In her spare time, she is working on her dissertation proposal.
